- Profile content: Bio text, Vibe Check responses, preferences, and interests you choose to share

- Usage data: How you interact with the Service, including features used, actions taken, and time spent
- Device information: Device type, operating system, browser type, and app version
- Location data: Approximate location (city-level) if you grant permission, used solely for showing distance on profiles
- Verification data: Photos captured during the verification process to confirm your identity, stored securely and used only for verification purposes
- Payment data: If you purchase a subscription or founding membership, payment processing is handled by third-party providers (Apple, Google, or Stripe). We do not store your payment card details. We receive confirmation of your subscription status only
3. Web Platform Data
When you use our website and web application at pinaparadise.app, we may additionally collect:
- Authentication data: Email and encrypted password stored via our authentication provider (Supabase)
- Browser data: Browser type, screen resolution, and referral source for analytics purposes
- Cookies: We use essential cookies for authentication session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Match you with compatible users based on your preferences and Vibe Check responses
- Facilitate communication between matched users
- Send you important service-related notifications
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and safety concerns

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for targeted advertising.
5. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data on the following legal bases:
- Contract performance: Processing necessary to provide the Service you have requested (matching, messaging, profile display)

We share your information only in these limited circumstances:
- With other users: Your profile information, photos, and Vibe Check responses are visible to other users as part of the core service
- Service providers: We work with trusted providers for hosting (Supabase, Cloudflare), image storage (Cloudflare R2), email delivery (Resend), and payment processing (Apple, Google, Stripe) who are contractually bound to protect your data
- Legal requirements: When required by law, regulation, or legal process
- Safety: When we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of our users or the public

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, row-level security policies on our database, and regular security assessments. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
